Abstract: As more business transactions are conducted online and business systems must be available on a 24x7x365 basis, the need has grown for companies to base their strategic and tactical business decisions on the most current data available. Moreover, increasingly innovative enterprises want to use current data to guide and control ongoing business process. Implementing live reporting from production databases and data warehouses enabling real-time access to real-time information is the next major challenge in the application of IT to improve business efficiency.
